Top Parent is fully compliant with Indian Data Protection Law: Top Parent adheres to the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

• Minimal data collection: We only collect the phone number to engage via Whatsapp, child’s age range - to personalise learning content, and (optionally) area pincode to ensure that we are serving communities that need our services — solely to personalize the learning experience

• No advertising or third-party sales: Top Parent does not host in-app advertisements, conduct in-app purchases, or share personal data with any external advertisers or data brokers.

• Secure storage: All user data is encrypted and stored on certified servers. We follow Reasonable Security Practices as per Rule 8 of the IT Rules 2011 and align with ISO 27001 standards.

• User control: Parents can request access, correction, or deletion of their data at any time by writing to tech@nudged.org.in. We aim to respond within 4–7 working days.

• Parental consent: We obtain verifiable parental consent for all users, ensuring that only parents or legal guardians register and manage data on the Top Parent App.

• Future-ready: Top Parent is aligned with the principles of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and is actively preparing for its implementation.
